General Hospital is a play on the Television of America. This is known as the 2nd longest play on the television. This means that this is an interesting soap which is very much liked and appreciated by the people of America and the audience of the soap. The television which broadcasts this play is ABC television from which it generated great revenue and so was the relationship between the producers, financers and the channel. This has also made record of being 2nd highest in the Guinness book of world record. The appreciation was due to the great cast and the dialogues. Luke and Laura are the most popular characters of the soap and when their wedding took place, whole of the America got crazy. Actually this soap was made by Frank and Dorris Hurseley who were also writers. This gave them a great confidence to show, improve and groom their abilities. Firstly the serial was only of 30 minutes but when the audience gave a great applause and demanded to increase the time duration of the soap, they increased to 45 minutes and their this approach of being audience friendly worked so well that showed that they really care for the audience. The serial was based on the city which was factious and was named as “Port Charles”. The studio chosen for the soap shooting was the “Prospect Studios”. This soap also won many award on the basis of different characters and this gave again a tool of motivation for the cast, writers, producers and financers.
